Nokia N91

Apple came up with the ipod, so Sony had to step up. Sony came up with the w800i, so Nokia had to catch up. And they did.

The Nokia N91 smartphone not only has a 2 megapixel camera, but more importantly it has a 4 GB memory. It's packed with all the usual features and has a convenient standard USB plug for easy file management. Oooh, that's hot.

So many new phones, no money. I haven't even bought a new phone yet. Geez.

Why do farts make noise?

The sounds are produced by vibrations of the anal opening. Sounds depend on the velocity of expulsion of the gas and the tightness of the sphincter muscles of the anus. Contrary to a popular misconception, fart noise is not generated by the flapping of the butt cheeks.

Oh my Giada

I've always loved Itallian.

Giada De Laurentiis is a private chef and caterer in Los Angeles and the founder of GDL Foods. Growing up in a large Italian family, Giada's passion for food was sparked as a child as she learned to prepare family recipes for their frequent gatherings. She became a professional chef after attending the famed Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in Paris. After working in a variety of Los Angeles restaurants, including Wolfgang Puck's Spago, Giada started her own business.

pet peeves (for friendster)

1) Names with dashes. My list is no longer alphabetical. There are also people I don't want to be reminded of all the time.

2) Having deceiving pictures (fuzzy, odd angles, edited, distorted) What are you trying to hide?

3) No other picture other than solo shots. Worse: having only close up solo shots.

4) Wrong grammar. If you can't write English... *sigh*

5) Strangers who message you and say add me please.

6) Strangers of the same sex who message and just say "hi". Isn't that kind of odd?

7) Misinforming statuses.

8) Messages that are actually spam.

9) Garbage in the bulletin board.

10) Poorly written testimonials.

Big Blue Crush

I was still awake past one this morning and I saw Blue Crush for the first time. Cool movie. I love Kate Bosworth! I know I've posted something about her here already.

I went on the web to check her out and found some interesting info about her:

Throughout high school, Kate maintained academic excellence and was an honor role student and a member of the National Honor Society. She is also a champion equestrian and plays varsity soccer and lacrosse. In her spare time, she volunteers with various non-profit organizations, including a Los Angeles program for physically challenged children who learn to ride horses with assistance.

Her eyes are two different colors: Hazel and Blue. This condition is known as Heterochromia iridium. Those eyes make her all the more beautiful.

She recently starred with Kevin Spacey in Beyond the Sea (which I have yet to see) and she is currently shooting Superman Returns where she stars as Lois Lane.

Her transformation from girl next door to a beautiful young woman is just lovely. She's great! I think that this smart and beautiful 22-year old will make her mark in time.

This is so cool. Since I use Blogger and I'm a Google fanatic, I decided to try out Picassa 2. I'm now using its semi-integration with Hello to post pics and even text (like this) on my blog. This means goodbye to Flickr.

Gmail anniversary

Check out this gmail prank on April fool's. Hehe. Gmail was actually launched on April 1, 2004 so it's their one year anniversary (thus the anniversary promo).

I like their marketing. One gig of email space was unheard of last year. When they came out with their service on April one, it seemed certain that it was just an April fool's prank. But lo and behold, it was real. They made the unheard of and silly real. Kudos to the boys at Google.
