Down with misinformation
I try not to be too vocal about my extreme frustration over MLM organizations and recruiters because I have friends who are into it. But the misinformation has to stop somewhere. I'm sorry to anyone who may get offended.
I've been trying to write an article about the cons that MLM recruiters hide (ahem, scam) but I'm so emotionally attached to the topic that I can't go beyond two paragraphs without losing my objectiveness.
Probably my biggest pet peeve in life is misinformation. The way that MLM recruiters operate is full of misinformation—from the time they invite you to a meeting/interview to the pseudo learning/training sessions you have once you become a member. It's the same the world over for so many years now. Our country has been plagued by misinformation of the masses for far too long already. Politics and showbizness have hurt our people so many times. The average Filipino succumbs to false promises so easily. It hurts so much when their hope is shattered. MLM is full of lies. It misleads and it blinds. And yes, recruiters are taught to do so.
I am saddened that supposed mature and intellectual people still fall for scams. The money is good, they might rationalize. The hasty things people do for money. If they give in, in no time they'll be throwing lines like "I'm just trying to help you" or "I'm doing this for you", like you actually owe them for wasting your time. Puta, these people have been using these same lines for years. Why won't people fucking catch up.
Once again, I'm sorry for those who may get offended, but there are far more people who have been hurt by this and remaining quiet will do them injustice.
I will give an update when I finish my article on MLM organizations.
Disclaimer: My sources humble me by stating that there are legit MLM organizations. Legit ones focus on marketing their products instead of RECRUITING people.
